PBS Documentary Featuring St. Mary’s Hospital

St. Mary’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center in Grand Junction were featured in the nationally-broadcast film “U.S. Health Care: The Good News.”
 
The documentary discusses the disparity of how medical resources are distributed and used across the country. Grand Junction is one of three communities featured and was chosen as a model for providing high-quality care while keeping costs low.

Produced by Lisa Hartman of Photopia Productions in Denver, in cooperation with Rocky Mountain PBS, the film spotlights Rocky Mountain Health Plans and shows the functional collaboration between health care facilities and providers in Grand Junction.
