Founded in 1951, Wheatland Memorial Healthcare is a 25-bed critical access Hospital with beds dually licensed for acute and swing bed care.  The Emergency Department is a certified Trauma Receiving Facility.  Wheatland offers rehabilitation services; imaging services; a fully equipped laboratory; and EKGs, holter monitoring and event monitoring. The facility has a telemedicine studio for specialty consults as needed. Wheatland operates a provider-based rural health clinic attached to the Hospital building.
